IT4I (IT4Innovations, VSB \u2013 Technical University of Ostrava)<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

IT4Innovations National\nSupercomputing Center was established as a university institute at VSB \u2013\nTechnical University of Ostrava. IT4Innovations National Supercomputing Center\n(IT4Innovations) represents a strategic large research infrastructure in the\nCzech Republic. IT4Innovations provides state-of-the-art supercomputing\ntechnology and services and conducts excellent research in the field of High\nPerformance Computing (HPC), High Performance Data Analysis (HDPA), and\nArtificial Intelligence (AI). IT4Innovations operates a national HPC service,\nconducts world-class excellent research, provides HPC related training, and\nsignificantly participates in the educational activities of VSB \u2013 Technical\nUniversity of Ostrava within the fields of HPC and applied mathematics.\nMoreover, it is the national node of PRACE (the Partnership for Advanced\nComputing in Europe \u2013 a Pan-European e-infrastructure), and is a member of EuroHPC\nJoint Undertaking (building a European exascale supercomputer), ETP4HPC\n(European Technology Platform for High Performance Computing), DBVA (Big Data\nValue Association), and EUDAT (Collaborative Data Infrastructure).\nIT4Innovations is also registered by the European Commission as a Digital\nInnovation Hub in the fields of HPC, artificial intelligence, and advanced data\nanalysis. IT4Innovations provides computational resources, know-how and\nexpertise to academia and industry across the Czech Republic and to the\nEuropean HPC community as well. The services include access to four\nsupercomputers, namely Anselm (94 TFlop\/s, installed in Summer 2013), Salomon\n(2 PFlop\/s, installed in Summer 2015), Barbora (826 TFlop\/s, installed in Fall\n2019) and special system for artificial intelligence computation, NVIDIA DGX-2\n(2 PFlop\/s in AI, installed in Spring 2019). A petascale EURO_IT4I system will\nbe installed during 2020 as a part of the EuroHPC project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
