\"LEXIS<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

LEXIS Consortium is a balanced mix of complementary companies, supercomputing centres, research institutes, and universities to cover the spectrum of scientific and technological innovation that the project relies on, and to leverage the varying dissemination expertise and community links of the different project members for maximum impact. It was originally composed of sixteen (16) partners, geographically distributed in seven (7) European countries. In the fall of 2020, the consortium was extended by two more partners. LEXIS is currently built on top of infrastructure and knowledge provided by three supercomputing research centres: LRZ, one of Germany\u2019s three National Supercomputing Centres (Tier-0), IT4I, the Czech National Tier-1 Supercomputing Centre, ECMWF, which provides world-leading global weather forecasts in a time-critical HPC environment, and ICHEC, the Irish Centre for High-End Computing. The industry is represented by three companies (Atos\/Bull, TESEO and Avio Aero) and five SME partners are involved in LEXIS as well (O24, CYC, BAY, NUM, and EURAXENT). The innovation potential of the LEXIS project draws \u2013 besides technical foundations \u2013 fundamentally from the scientific expertise provided by six research organisations: LINKS, CEA, ITHACA, CIMA, GFZ, and AWI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
