WP2 LEXIS Requirements Definition and Architecture Design
WP2 work package dealt with the co-design of the overall LEXIS system architecture involving all the LEXIS partners. It was focused on the federation of the existing HPC infrastructure elements available at IT4I (CZ) and LRZ (DE) HPC centres as well as Weather & Climate data services in ECMWF (UK). WP2 also dealt with the adoption of additional state-of-the-art technologies such as burst buffers, FPGA, orchestration, web portal, remote visualization and federated identity and access management.
