The Irish Centre for High-End Computing is Ireland’s high-performance computing centre. Established in NUI,Galway in 2005 ICHEC’s mission is to deliver complex compute solutions in partnership with Irish Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), Enterprises and the Public Service on behalf of the State.

ICHEC supports Ireland in realising the benefits of high-performance computing, creating breakthroughs in science, economic development and evidence-based policies. Our unique services include; supporting academic researchers in Ireland and Europe, providing expertise, training and support to local business and SMEs, and working with government agencies and local authorities to translate data into knowledge. This means that we provide solutions to some of the toughest challenges across public, academic and enterprise sectors in Ireland.
