Infrastructure Layer

The LEXIS infrastructure federates three European HPC centers and scientific and data providers, respectively IT4I (CZ), LRZ (DE) and ECMWF (UK) in a single security model to provide extensions of their existing HPC & Cloud infrastructures to a converged HPC and Big Data initiative. This infrastructure provides various flavours of HPC and cloud systems, enriched with state-of-the-art technology such as the latest GPUs, FPGA and Burst Buffers accessible through modern interfaces such as a web portal, 3D reporte visualization and REST APIs.
